5 minutes with pianist, Tony Suggs

Her kind introduction to Tony was the perfect way in to this incredibly musical city.
Exuberant, joyful, warm-hearted and welcoming, Tony really was the highlight of our visit. Not only did he help us navigate the city with a keen expatriate's eye, he gave us a personal mini-concert at Sound Studio NOAH (https://www.studionoah.jp).
His connection to jazz, his life of musical experiences from Mississippi on through to NYC and his tenure with The Count Basie orchestra as a 5th generation pianist were truly eye opening stories.
We loved every moment with Tony and look forward to meeting up again.
