What a fantastic resource this ‘Six Cat Studios Lesson and Practice Logbook’ is!

As a music educator of more than two decades experience, I have used many different formats of practice notebook over the years. However, I have never come across one that is so well thought out and designed.

By breaking down the different aspects of the learning process in such a user friendly way, both student and teacher are encouraged to develop focussed and productive learning habits - both in the music lesson itself and throughout the week in the students’ personal practice.

I particularly like the daily practice plan breakdown, enabling students to cover a variety of material over the course of a week, preventing a week of practice from feeling overwhelming - and instead breaking it down into a series of fun, achievable and progressive elements.

Thank you for creating this excellent resource. It is such a valuable and powerful tool, which I have no doubt will benefit so many students in the years to come!

As it can be clearly discerned by exploring Aniela’s logbook, all the pedagogic material contained in it was carefully pondered upon by an indisputably expert music educator, who deeply understands the natural physical/mental timings and dynamics involved in both learning and teaching a musical instrument.

By using Aniela’s logbook, students and teachers (but also parents) will effortlessly navigate together the immense sea of music and easily arrive at their set musical learning destinations.

After receiving a copy of Aniela Emma Chaudhuri’s ‘Music Lesson and Practice Logbook’, I give it my highest recommendation.

I feel that one of the biggest challenges when teaching young people is that the elements that are taught often get confused or muddled, simply due to the large amount of information which is shared.

The use of some kind of practice log or notebook is recommended and with Aniela's beautifully structured Logbook I am sure that students, teachers and parents alike will have an easier experience!

A transformational tool for music practice!

As a musician and parent, I’ve observed firsthand how my daughter’s violin practice has been injected with purpose, structure and ownership by Aniela’s ‘Music Lesson and Practice Logbook’. It is an indispensable tool that makes sure both teachers and students are optimizing the learning outcome.
